Perimenopause Cycle Tracker

Log period start dates; the tracker computes cycle lengths, applies the STRAW+10 rules to your real data — recurring 7-day swings, 60-day skips, 12 months without — and follows your stage as it changes. Saved on this device, monthly.

Common questions

How many cycles should I log?

At least three or four — the STRAW+10 rules are about change between consecutive cycles, so two periods can only hint. Six months of logs makes the stage call genuinely trustworthy.

Is this a diagnosis?

No — it's the same STRAW+10 cycle rules the stage calculator asks you about, applied to dates you actually logged. Skipped periods have other causes (pregnancy, thyroid, stress, medications); the rules only mean something in context.

Where is my data stored?

In your browser's local storage, like every tracker on this site — nothing leaves your device, and clearing site data clears the log.

Method

Cycle length = days between consecutive period starts. STRAW+10 rules applied in order: no period for 12+ months → postmenopause; any 60+ day gap in the log → late menopausal transition; recurring differences of 7+ days between consecutive cycles → early transition; otherwise, regular cycles at 40+ reads as the late reproductive stage. The framework is retrospective by design — the final period is only confirmed looking back. Heavy bleeding, spotting between periods, or gaps under 35 with flooding are worth a clinician visit on their own, whatever the stage says.
