About WellByNumbers
Every page on this site computes something: a calculator that turns your inputs into a number, a chart ranked from one dataset, or a data table with the math shown. No articles, no listicles, no "top 10" roundups written for search engines — if a page can't produce a number you can act on, it doesn't exist.
What this site is
An independent, ad-free reference for health numbers: caffeine timing, sleep cycles, midlife women's health, GLP-1 nutrition, and food composition. Every table runs on USDA FoodData Central values synced per food entry (source IDs on each food page), and every calculator states its formula and sources on the page itself — see method & data for the full inventory.
What this site is not
Not medical advice, and not a substitute for a clinician. The tools translate published reference values and pharmacokinetic models into personal numbers; they don't diagnose anything, don't cover medications or conditions, and say so out loud on every page that needs the caveat. Where the honest answer is "ask for a blood test" — iron, menopause staging — the pages say exactly that.
How it's supported
No advertising, no affiliate links, no newsletter funnel, no accounts — the tools run entirely in your browser and save nothing to any server. Anything you log (plant points, symptom diaries, hot flashes) lives in your browser's local storage and nowhere else.
Corrections
A number wrong is the worst failure this site can have. If you find one, the method page lists every formula and data source so you can check the math yourself — and the fix will credit the catch.
